Ku-ring-gai resident Roger Carisson had his old fridge collected by Fridge Buyback and he is now saving a cool $300/year off his power bill.

Manly Council, which is now part of the Northern Beaches Council, was ranked #2 of the 51 Councils that support Fridge Buyback. "Well done Manly residents, keep up the energy savings," Jean Hay, former Mayor of Manly Council.

Residents of the Kiama municipality are great recyclers. Since 2007 Kiama residents have participated in Fridge Buyback and have saved over $119,700 each year on their power bills, 3192 tonnes of greenhouse gas and 26 tonnes of metals.

The Fridge Buyback scheme has returned and is better than ever.
