To register your interest in having your second fridge or upright freezer collected, simply answer the questions below and click Submit. We will call you to confirm eligibility and schedule a collection. Alternatively, you can call 1800 708 401 or 8966 9888 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We will be happy to answer your questions.

1. Eligible Fridges and Freezers

To participate in Fridge Buyback, you will need to certify that the fridge or upright freezer to be collected is:

  1. In working order and regular use, but not the main fridge/freezer at the address listed (i.e. there are two or more working fridges/freezers that have been plugged in at your home for some time and by handing your appliance into Fridge Buyback you will see a significant reduction in your power bill
  2. built before 1996; and
  3. 200 litres (7.06 cubic feet) or greater in gross volume.
